D1 Legal and Ethical issues:
This document is created so that the advert doesn’t bring
bad impressions to my target audience and shutdown an entire advert. Legal and
Ethical issues could result in being fined, bad impression to the target
audience, shutting down the entire project, Copyright and even more.
Copyrighted content will not be included for the sake of not
causing any trouble with the owners of said content. If any copyrighted content
will be needed for use, a request for permission will be sent to the owner and
will ask them to sign a consent form just in case if things go around. As said
in the laws of copyright, if I were to use copyrighted content without paying
for use, asking for permission or credit them in some sort of way, wherever the
said content has been included, the advertisement will have to be taken down.
In the advertisement there is only one person shown on
camera and was asked for permission if said person could appear on the camera.
If any other individuals were to show up on the camera, we are left with three
options. First one is to ask them if they are alright with showing their face
on the camera if they agree, they will sign a form as proof. If that don’t
work, we will ask them if it’s alright for them being of video with blurred
face. If both options fail, then the shot will have to be redone.
Royalty music are a type of music which can be obtained by
paying the author or download it for free. Most of the times they are perfect
for advertisement and it’s probably the first thing to look for background
music. If I were to use it for free there is one thing that I should do before
posting the advert live. Even though the music is free you still need
permission from the author to include it inside your advert.
Any bad Language/Behaviour/Offence/Violence will not be
included in the advert since it’s completely
unnecessary and the advertisement tries to aim at all age groups. If the advert
would include any type of bad Language/Behaviour/Offence/Violence the advert
will be shut down by the ASA instantly. Also adding any type of bad
Language/Behaviour/Offence/Violence will make people see the brand a completely
different way.
In the advert
a female has been used because: Aiming at the target audience; Usually adults
have a hard time waking up in the morning, so they usually go for a coffee or
cup o’ tea to start their day so since the drink refreshes the person it feels
suitable.
