Genre conventions When other companies make a drink they first take their time to look into it before publishing the advert live. Most drinks try to make their products stand out in a way to make it unique to others. For example coca cola and Pepsi, Coke is recognisable for the fancy font that is uses and Pepsi is famous for its logo. But another way to make a company recognisable from the others is through adverts themselves, especially Coke. Coca Cola is famous for including santa claus in their adverts. The reason behind using him is that they try to show the audience that coke brings happiness and have a good time with your loved ones or friends, and another reason for making a Christmas advert is that during cristmass and cristmass eve everyone should have a good time. Same with the “share a coke” campaign. I have created an TV advert and Web advert for a fizzy drink named Fruit Bomb. It is meant to be a healthy drink that provides energy from nature and gives you a moment unimaginable. These adverts are unfinished and very simple.  For example the video is meant to be simple and straight forward to show the audience what the drink does and who it would benefit the most. My aim for the advertisement was to try and make people relate to the person in the advert with the way theirs mornings go, and for them to see this as an healthy alternative to like a coffee or tea.  There are some shots that I'm amazed that I even made in and even an edit which is a transition between the hallway and the kitchen. The way I made the transition is by filming 2 shots, the first one is by entering the kitchen and the other one is inside the kitchen. I then afterwards used the masking tool to connect both of the clips in Adobe Premiere and timed it right that it seamed like it was 1 recording. You c...

This is what my task is I have been asked to make an advertisement, print and web ad for a fizzy drink. So for this unit i made my pre-production documents such as a storyboard, print ad sketch and web ad sketch. Each sketch must have a detailed description for what i've done and why i've done it.  This is what my target audience is My target audience is energy/coffee drinkers of the age 20+ and offer them a healthier alternative if what they ususally drink. One of my target audiences is a mainstreamer and the other is a Reformer and this is because that they both try to achieve something good in business or in life, so instead of taking and expencive and maybe unhealthy drink, why not choose a healthier and cheaper alternative.  The social grade that im aiming for is C2 and D grade since they try to save some money for future use and are currently looking for buying cheep alternatives so that they can save more, which is what my brand tries to do.  The mode of address fo...

  C1, C2 and D - in these three social grades people are more likely to be targeted by the campaign because they cant really afford to afford much of hiring other people to help them with their houses or other planned projects.

 M3 – Explain what codes and conventions you’ve used   This is a document that will see what types of codes and conventions are in the advert and if they are similar of different.   Slogans: Fruit bomb has a slogan that is “An explosion of flavours”. This was my choice of slogan because it tells you about how good the drink is. Other companies follow the same thing like PlayStation “Live in Your World, Play in Ours” telling us that the PlayStation is capable of running different games that make you feel in a different world while playing in the world of PlayStation. The slogans try to tell you that there is something about the product that you don’t want to miss out. D1 Legal and Ethical issues:   This document is created so that the advert doesn’t bring bad impressions to my target audience and shutdown an entire advert. Legal and Ethical issues could result in being fined, bad impression to the target audience, shutting down the entire project, Copyright and even more.   Copyrighted content will not be included for the sake of not causing any trouble with the owners of said content. If any copyrighted content will be needed for use, a request for permission will be sent to the owner and will ask them to sign a consent form just in case if things go around.
